This knitwear capsule collection is inspired by how our clothing can protect us from our environment by studying the resilience of past life on Earth that has been preserved in the fossil record throughout history. This capsule collection was created for a world in 2075, in which the climate cools and humans require protection against a colder climate while remaining comfortable and active. For the inside environment, a jumpsuit with rib knit compression panels and leggings pair with a halter top that can be rolled down to transition to different climates. A cropped jacket and long wrap coat can be worn over these garments to provide warmth and protection.
Design Objectives:
// Adaptability that accounts for environmental variations / Exclusive utilization of knits / Modern silhouettes with futuristic elements //

Created for an apparel design course during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the transition to a digital environment presented a challenge for learning how to fit these garments over video conferencing.
With advanced knowledge of alterations post-graduation, I re-created these garments in Clo3D and performed the necessary alterations virtually. I am proud to showcase my revision of these designs and enhance a strong design concept through improved fit.
